Ramble docs

What Ramble is, how it works, and what is new.

Ramble is for showing someone what is wrong with an app. You share a window and talk it through for up to ten minutes. Ramble turns what you said into findings. Each finding has your own words, a screenshot and a timestamp. They live at a link that a coding agent can read and act on.

How it works

  1. Share a window and talk. Open ramble.sh, press Start rambling and pick the tab, window or screen to share. Say what is wrong out loud, the way you would to a teammate.
  2. Ramble reads it. When you stop, Ramble transcribes what you said and works out the findings. The page shows the progress. A recording is usually ready in under three minutes.
  3. Hand over the link. Each finding carries your quote, a screenshot and the time you said it. Give the link to a coding agent, or connect your agent so it finds your rambles by itself.

What's new

  • Coding agents. Connect Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot or another agent that speaks MCP. Paste one line, sign in once, then type /ramble. Your agent reads your findings, claims the ones it works on, and reports back. See Coding agents, or the connect page.
  • Record requests. After a fix, your agent can ask you to record a short check. On ramble.sh you get a card with the agent's note and press Start rambling. In Ramble for Mac you get a prompt with a Record button. Nothing records until you press it. See Record requests.
  • Agent activity, for you only. What your agent has done shows on your ramble page and on your list of rambles: statuses, notes, claims and the project. People you share the link with don't see any of it. See Agent activity.
  • Only the owner can change a signed-in ramble. If a ramble belongs to your account, only you can delete, edit, reorder or retry it. Anyone with the link can still view it. See Sharing and who can change what.
  • Projects. A ramble can be tied to a project, such as a repository, so your agent picks the right rambles for the code it is in. See Projects.
  • Ramble for Mac. A menu bar recorder with a hotkey (⌥⇧R) and links from your agent. See Ramble for Mac. Its download page, /download, says whether it is out yet.

Good to know

  • Anyone with a ramble's link can view it, without signing in: the video, the screenshots, the transcript and the findings. Share links the way you would share any private document.
  • On ramble.sh, rambles are removed 14 days after they are recorded. You can delete one sooner.
  • Ramble is a preview. It is free for now, and it will change.
  • The phone app is in private testing only: it is not on Google Play or the App Store.
  • Questions, or something that looks wrong: hello@kiruna.ai.

The Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service are the binding documents. These docs explain how Ramble works. If they ever disagree, the policy and the terms win.
